meet the team
We’re a web design studio with a flair for intentional, minimalist design. We work with passionate people who are daring enough to go after their dreams.
We want to help you create your dream website. You have a vision and we have the tools to make it happen. With Carrie’s eye for design and symmetry and Kyle’s creativity and love of coding, we offer the whole package. Find out more about us below.
who we are
Hi! We’re Kyle and Carrie Goodman, a creative couple from southeast Texas. We’re currently in East Texas, raising our 3 kids and trying to live the simple life. We just finished our tiny house, with a plan to buy some land and start an animal sanctuary, and maybe a tiny house B&B down the line. That’s why we do what we do for others; it’s about creating the lifestyle we want so we can pursue all of our passions, and we want to help you do that, too.

🕹 Among Us
I’m Kyle (he/his),
the web developer, logo designer, and writer. I started coding in high school, then later took the Skillcrush Web Developer Blueprint course, along with teaching myself WordPress. I use my love of coding to put those custom touches on the websites we create. I also love to draw, and I’m always coming up with new logo concepts, as well as writing most of our blog posts.
I’m Carrie (she/hers),
the creative director and web designer. After years in retail merchandising and management, I started designing websites when I took the Skillcrush Web Designer Blueprint course; then I took it once step further by learning WordPress. I’ve always had an eye for design (including customizing my MySpace page back in the day). Now I love helping others get their dream website.

Here at Salt Inspired Design, we believe in being The Greater Good.
Our passion is helping people through both our design services and “extravagant generosity”, where we keep only what we need and give away the rest. Giving to causes that stir our hearts is something that is very important to us.
As we develop relationships with various charities, whether that’s an ocean conservation organization or just spending time with someone who is in need of a good meal, we will be highlighting those charities and adventures on our blog so you can see what we are up to as we set out on our journey. Or you can contact us to find out more!
